We got up at 8am and had breakfast at the hotel then walked down to the City Hall then down to the harbour for a 2 hour cruise of the Oslo fjord. We got up at 6am, had breakfast at the hotel and walked across to Oslo Central train station to catch the 8am train to Halden to meet Kjersti, a friend we had spoken to over the internet for the best part of a decade. During the train trip we had heavy snow at times and arrived in Halden at 9.45am meeting Kjersti on the platform. Arrived back in Oslo from Halden and rested at the hotel before setting out in search of dinner. We ate at a chinese restaurant off the main street then returned to the hotel for some sleep.

Flight to Oslo was packed, we flew over Bergen and the fjords for the only part of the flight that was clear enough to see anything. We arrived in Oslo at 10am and our bags both arrived with us. Caught Airport express train to Oslo central station which we found to be fast, efficient and easy to use. Our first stop was Hveragerði greenhouse village which wasn't very exciting, it was a town with lots of greenhouses gorwing vegetables and flowers as you'd expect.
