Made it up to Hedges Lake in Upstate New York last night. Driving with Erin and Noah on a beautiful forest road, I found myself returning to a state of balance. I told Erin that I felt like layers of tension and stress were slowly falling away. It felt so awesome to be in the car with my little family and everything we need in one spot. I felt so in love with my family and know that we are going to experience so much together over the years.

We are staying at the lake cabin of our friends Brad & Becky. It is so calm and peaceful to be on the lake. Stars were everywhere. I found myself waking early to take pictures of Noah on the dock while mommy slept in.
