Hello again from KL! Making the most of the free internet in the hotel we're in (although can't upload our fabulous latest photos as its so slow and USB ports are scarce!) We went out last night to a night market where we put our battering skills to good use and succeeded in getting everything for under half price (we'll be battering in Tesco by the time we're back!) We then went to the Reggae Bar (aka a Bob Marley shrine!) with some of the friends we've made here to celebrate my degree (I got a First - wooooo!!) and generally have a good time :-) Then today we got up early and went to the Petronas Towers to get tickets to go up onto the viewing bridge (they are the highest towers in the world) We got there about ten and our tour was at 1.45pm so we had time to kill and guess what??? there's a mall in the twin towers!! It had all our high street stroes mixed in with designers which was kind of wierd - apparently Topshop's like Prada over here! I got a nice top in Mango and Fleur got a few tops from Mango and Dorothy Perkins (yes... they have that too!) And they have a Marks and Sparks, which was really wierd to see! This evening about twelve of us we went for a Malay meal, which wasn't all that special but filled a hole! Tomorrow we leave here early PM and go to Melaka where we're staying in a hotel with a Jacuzzi on the roof - bring on the tanning. We;ve been so busy that it will be nice to have somewhere to chill out and relax before hitting the shops in Singapore! Only a few days now until we'll be in Cairns!
