We continued our journey South to Wanaka, a beautiful lake side alpine resort, where the sun was shining. We stayed in a very bizarre hostel which had a very alfresco feeling, with the dining room being outside and all the corridors pretty much outside too. We were glad we splashed out for a private room in this one.

We relaxed on the beach, enjoyed a good coffee or two and spent over 30 minutes in an outdoor maze at Puzzling World. This is actually a fairly long time to spend lost with a mild panic. We spent the evening at a quirky cinema watching 'Focus', the new fairly bland Will Smith film. We got in early to chose our seat, the choice was vast from regular cinema seats, to sitting in a car. We went for a rather comfy sofa and sipped at our Sauvignon blanc to really relax us. The warm freshly baked cookie and homemade ice cream during the interval went down fairly nicely too. Greg has decided that he wants to run a cinema like this 'when he's older'.
