Just read your blog mail and spoke to your Mum rang, we hope youn are both ok and Chiris is recovering after this very unsettling incident. Its best to move on and enjoy the rest of your time in China. Also avoid cooking your own meals from pans of boiling water on dining tables!!

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to you last night and I hope Chris is recovering ok. It's easy to think we are invincible when we are abroad and we put ourselves in dangerous situations that we would not consider doing if we were at home, when really we should be on our guard more than ever. Keep safe and don't let this horrible experience stop you having fun for the rest of your trip. Big hugs xx

Hi, you must have telepathic tendencies, I texted today as we hadn't heard anything from you for a while. Glad to hear you are both safe and well and enjoying the relative calm of China. Have to say I agree with Lisa, I too would want to set all the animals free and put the seller in a cage!!!

Hey, it was great talking to you today, glad you are both doing fine. Took a bit of time getting through, maybe the Chinese equivalent of BT isn't all that hot!

The photos are fantastic, what sights you are seeing, if I was 20 years younger I'd be doing it myself.
