One particular party piece was where I would cycle, no-handed, down a flight of concrete steps by the local shopping centre, where I worked as a butcher's boy. I would do deliveries as well and one time, I pulled the step stunt to an appreciative group of shoppers (who all clapped), forgetting that my rear paniers were actually full of eggs. The butcher was relatively sanguine about it and simply docked me a week's wages. His name was Dave Manning, cheers Dave.
