The model aircraft reflect an aviation theme since the inn is situated at Bembridge Airfield. Whilst we were there, a small group of parachutists or sky divers, in full baggy outfits were merrily discussing a recent case where a husband caused a wife to die by cutting the ties on her primary and secondary chutes. They didn't seem so interested in the morals of the case, but more, much more the technicalities of how the bloke achieved his sabotage. I think true enthusiasts for any extreme hobby, often demonstrate this trait.
