As has become the norm, or the tradition, we set up a makeshift camp in the car park of central Bad Nenndorf and made a hot drink. TJ and I agree that doing this satisfies a kind of primeval need for self sufficiency, and sub set of this ethos is a need to "beat the system", that is to remain independent to some degree from the establishment. Indeed, we have observed that passers by look at us quizzically, as if to say "why are you doing that, when you can obviously purchase similar refreshments from near by cafes?".
