Here, he's on his way to beating the bean stalk serving monster, Karlovic. I like him because he doesn't really care. His croaky, ennui soaked, interviews display a kind of amused contempt for the world. A friend said someone he knew had posted a face book comment saying "Murray never smiles". Well actually, he does. I noticed he was smiling a lot, even when he was facing the monster's serve (I contend he's smiling in this photo, as Karlovic's 147 mph serve approaches). There is someone who's never smiled (at least on record) and that's Jesus. There's nothing to suggest that Jesus ever cracked a joke either, but Murray jokes a lot, even though some people don't get the joke. Cheers to Murray, I say. I hope he wins the whole bloody thing.
