Got up to make the tea and looked out the kitchen window to see this fantastic sky. In line with previous observations, I like to consider skies to be an epitome of the fleeting nature of reality, and in particular, the effect of reflected and refracted light on clouds - within a minute or so this warm glow was completely replaced by coldish light greys and blues. One can dwell on how real, or indeed, illusory, all this is; perhaps the only reality is the beauty itself, extant in my own consciousness for the briefest of moments.
