All around Granada, one can observe small tree plantations, like this one. Oddly, all the plantations seem to contain trees all of which are roughly the same height, lets say about 50-60ft, which is counter intuitive since you'd expect individual plantations to be in various stages of growth. Their use is not known to me (or the very knowledgeable Jeremy), although we did see a few lorries on the motorway carrying loads of logs which might have been these same trees in their harvested state. I have subsequently search Google for clues as to their use, but to no avail. Aesthetically, I find them rather pleasing, and it would be nice to think that their purpose is indeed purely aesthetic, although, as Jeremy might say "Art has its limits, you know".
