Upon arrival in Tarifa, we did what we do best - we went for lunch. I have eaten and drank in European restaurants and cafes far and wide. Some were great, some were rubbish, others were OK. However, none of them were as far south in Europe as this one, and it would be literally impossible to go anywhere further South in Europe since this is the very point at which the continental mainland ends. Interestingly, sitting at this table, looking directly ahead, one of us is facing the Mediterranean, the other the Atlantic.
