Hello Earthlings who residents in America,
Our ninth day in South Africa and third day in Cape Town started off with the sun giving us a sign to wake up and seize the day. After having a buffet-style breakfast, our energies boosted up to one-hundred percent. We got on a strange machine that contains wheels. Humans uses it all the time and called it taxi. The strange machine called taxi took us deep into the city of Cape Town, South Africa to meet its friend named, City Sight-seeing bus. When we got on the bus, we came to find that the bus was comfortable! After two hours, the long drive completed, we came upon Cape Peninsula. We hiked directly to see the Cape Point where we can see the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans. The view of Cape Point from the side of the mountain left us dumbfounded. When we looked down we could see that the ocean has three different personalities. The deep part of the ocean was blue as sapphire, the closer it is to the shore the more tortoise and lighter it gets, and then it becomes white on the sand. It looked as if there were clouds in the ocean. As we lusted for more wonders, we hiked around the mountain high above the ocean to the very front of the point. The view was indescribable and the surroundings was very windy. As we went back from where we came in, we went to see the other kind of beauty, The Cape of Good Hope. Getting there was definitely not a piece of a cake! It was exhausting! We had to fight against the rocks to reach the top. Carpe Diem! We did it! It was like we entered into another world. The ocean was endless, the sky was quiet, the water was still but bubbly at the same time. It was windy so bad to the point where it felt like we had to push the wind to walk forward. When we finished admiring the famous parts of South Africa, we got on the bus and rode to see the penguins. Rule number one do not touch the penguins; their beaks are vile! However, they are so cute and irresistible! While we were staring at the cutest creatures, the wind was out of control! We could feel the sands hitting our faces, it was not fun and definitely not deaf friendly. Even sunglasses couldn't prevent the flying sands. Near the penguins' den there were many handmade crafts such as paintings, wood carvings, South African shirts, and etc. Some of us bought something and some of us just admire the beauty of it. After a long day of hiking, of course, its Beach Time! Everyone ran to the water and scream when our feet met the freezing cold water of Earth! Of course, we kids are stubborn and stayed in the water until our time was up. It was sad to leave The Cape Peninsula, today we fought winds, sands and cold water. Today we saw the other dimension. Today we saw cute creatures. Today we seized the day. When we arrived back at the hotel our energies were ten percent. It is time to charge overnight and start again tomorrow.
Tomorrow maybe
