Well we've made it into Kruger and have decided to stay for a few days in the Skakuza area. Our first night was in a 'chalet' with real beds and running water. Most of the camps throughout this park have various accommodations. They usually consist of campgrounds (car camping), chalets, guest cottages, family cottages, and private lodges. The first night in the chalet was fairly uneventful with the exception of an aggressive vervet monkey...the little dear. ...

We are finally ready to start our new adventure. Our landrover (Tortoise) is newly serviced, and equiped with a new rooftop tent, fridge/freezer, state of the art camping equipment and a small moutain of food luxuries that Luke believes we cannot do without! In addition to our normal wildlife photography we will be researching a book idea that we have been considering for some time. In our library there are text books on botony and biology as well as the stand...

We have selected our mascott. After long deliberation (about 5 minutes) we chose the regal and ever so clever tortoise. We figured since we will be stuck on top of the landy for months it's pretty much our little house. Our tortoise's name is Patience, something neither one of us much posses. A little glue and the landy aka toroise, is ready for action!
