Good Evening and Welcome

Allow us to make our introductions.

Our names are Kim and Zoe (alphabetical, not in order of importance...) and combined we are the troublesome twosome. Just to clarify, we are unfortunately not a couple - Zoe has better taste haha. We are just two friends, who know far too much about each other to be enemies.

Kim (that is me) is the beautiful red headed lady in the photos. Zoe is the sweet, innocent looking one. Appearances are so deceiving

We both share a major passion... well two major passions... Games of Thrones and Travelling. Since we can't really write much about the first passion, we decided it would be a great idea to write about our second.

Zoe and I have known each other for 6 years now and we met through work. We both worked at a well-known optical establishment, which we won't name... but it sounds like peckpavers. I still remember, clear as day, one of our first conversations. We were both sat at our little dispensing desks and I just turned around and asked if she like the UK TV show "Misfits" - she did. That pretty much solidified our friendship right there.

From that day in November 2010 we have had many adventures. There have been smiles, tears, tantrums, laughter, craziness, hard times and good times. Most importantly, we have stories. Stories in which we cannot wait to share with everyone - probably to our own detriment

Neither Zoe nor I are a stranger to blog writing. Zoe studied English Language and Journalism at University and is an extremely talented writer. She has her own blog site - but we won't plug it here... this is my blog site!!! I have written a few blogs myself over the years, mainly when I was away working on the cruise ships... but that's another story.

Due to my working away and Zoe away at Uni, we started to talk less and less and ultimately lost contact, for almost 2 years actually! One of our photos here is the last photo we have together... we do need to change that.

Luckily, Zoe realised that life without me was dull and boring, and so she reached out through the magic of facebook and within minutes we were reminiscing about good times and talking over recent adventures. As most conversations do, this led on to our wanderlust and us both wishing we could find a way to fund more travelling but together. I did suggest prostitution and selling a kidney - in our case, neither would make us much money. Sigh. Zoe then mentioned blog writing and that if we were good enough that someone may sponsor us to go travelling. Well! What could possibly be wrong with that idea? After all, we are hilarious and delightful. Who wouldn't want to pay us to go all over the world and write for them. I can't believe we didn't think of this sooner....

Until that happens, we just thought we would provide some light entertainment and share our stories and recommendations of the places that we have actually been to. By all means, if someone out there is impressed then please do buy us plane tickets.. alternatively, I have one semi functioning kidney that hasn't been ruined by years of alcohol consumption....

We really hope that you do enjoy our blogs.

They will be written separately as our travels do differ but nonetheless this is a joint adventure and we hope to work together on blogs in the future.

Are we crazy? Probably. Do we need help? Possibly. Will it stop us? NEVER!!!!
