Hey Kids, we've landed on the sunny shores of SA, Cape Town to be exact. The sun is shining the G&T's are chilled and the world is good! It's very strange not to be gainfully employed - but we sure are getting used to it. It's been tough though - we've had to wake at about 10am..... or 12, wander down to the beach, wander back up to a beach front bar for a drink or two and then make our way back to our mountain side flat, sit out watching the world go by and decide which sea front venue we'll be frequenting for the evening. It's a tough job but we are doing our best!!! xxxlinds

And from a tourists point of view so far... Cape Town (or rather Sea Point) is a very pretty part of the country. Don't let Lindsey's blog mislead you, we have been doing lots of walking each day - I have the blisters to prove it!
We are residing in a lovely apartment on the hillside overlooking Sea Point, with views of the hills behind and the sea out front - lovely. But of course being on a hill means that what goes down, must come up (or something like that!). So we've been getting plenty of exercise. And over the last few days we have probably walked about 10 miles trying to get mobiles and internet sorted out so we can communcate with you guys. Hope you appreciate it :-)
Aside from all the walking though, the rest of our time has been rather relaxing. We hope to have the use of a car later this week so we will venture out and see some more of Cape Town... and more beautiful beaches! xxx Tracey
