Well, I got away. Me the pessimist, always thinking that the worst will happen. But I got to Edmonton ok...I got to Vancouver ok and I am hoping to get to Taipei ok. The flight is 15 hours long which is a little depressing when I have been waiting 3 months already for my trip to begin but I have my gravol and hope to sleep for at least part of the flight. The goodbye with the kids was much better than I expected, Ben had been a little emotional about the whole thing all day and I was worried that he would be really upset. But they hugged and kissed me good bye without one tear. :) Iam sure its because Auntie Becky was taking them to watch some airplanes take off :)

On my flight here I met a really nice couple from Westaskiwin that are taking a trip to Brazil. It was really funny, because as we were waiting to board the flight I saw that the woman had a Timmy's coffee and I asked her where she got it. As a strange twist of fate, her and her husband ended up being the two people right beside me. They were really fun to talk to and we watched the finale of The Biggest Loser together. I love the randomness and friendliness of people.

I am now waiting to board my flight to Taipei and am very excited about the next 21 days!! ttyl
