Wow I can't believe our trip is coming to an end. It only seems like yesterday we were at the airport in Adelaide.
A last dip in the pool for Miss A and I while Phil and all finished packing and all too soon it was time to get ready to go to the airport for the first of our three flights.
Mr Nalad had returned to take us and although not the same as Josh, who we must admit we were sad not to see, made the trip go quickly.
Surprised at how quickly and easily we got through screening and check in and it was off in search of a coffee before our flight. Easily found at the top of the stairs although I ended up having to remind them after they forgot to even make our coffee's.
A few shops in the boarding area but really not a lot to choose from and not much selection if you were after a magazine or a drink.
After waiting it seemed for a long time to board after the boarding time, once everyone was on they didn't mess around and we were off. We hardly had time to eat our supplied snack and we were landing in Bangkok.
After realising we had left Miss A's blanket at the Golden Jade and emailing them, they had it bought to the airport for us. 150baht and worth every cent of it to have it back. Can't fault their service everything was responded to quickly and if we needed to stay close to the airport wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
After finally locating our check in area and giving the staff our tickets I was somewhat surprised to see the Business Class labels being added to our labels. Having bid for an upgrade at the lowest amount I hadn't expected to win the seats given there were seven of us flying! I had a thought to keep it secret until we boarded in KL however Philip is a bit too quick for his own good and worked it out quickly.
Through security and customs into the duty free area and were shocked to realise we couldn't buy duty free even though we had the boarding passes to say we were heading to Adelaide! We knew KL was really expensive so Adelaide it would appear is where it would have to happen. I can't remember having had that trouble before but it was a long time ago since I flew from Bangkok.
A very easy flight to KL and Miss A slept through most of it.
Arriving in KL it was pretty much auto-pilot as our luggage was put through to Adelaide so whiling the time away with iced chocolate (yum) and caramel macchiatos at The Coffee Bean and trying to keep Miss A in one spot. No idea where she gets her energy from!
Marie and I checked out the Pandora store right next door and Phil got conned into buying a tiger for Miss A's bracelet. Seemed fitting after the previous days events.
And then it was onto the plane for our last flight.
