Another day trip today, this time to Xel-Ha, a natural aquarium. It´s like a big inlet where fresh water meets the sea, with loads of little bays and rocks. So after spending nearly a week vegetating on the beach, I thought I would go for a bit of culture. Day trip to Chichen Itza booked! It was a two and a half hour drive from Cancun, so I was picked up at 7.30am. Sat with some nice fellow Brits and a lady from Chile, and had a bit of a doze.
