We have arrived in Taupo today. We spent the last two days in Napier the art deco town. We enjoyed walking round the looking at the buildings and relaxing with hot chocolate in the cafes. We spent three hours on the ferry and arrived in Wellington last night. We have spent today in the city. We visited Te Papa museam for a few hours, it was a really good museam with so much information about New Zealand. We have enjoyed exploring the Marlborough Sounds the last few days. We went to a coulpe of lovely little bays called Duncan Bay and Penzance. We camped in the middle of nowhere here and the was no one around and I managed to freak us both out but we made it through the night alive. We left Greymouth and continued up the west coast. We went to Pancake rocks and Blowholes which were amazing, luckily we arrived at high tide and all the blowholes were going. We have enjoyed travelling up the West Coast from Franz Josef. We spent a day at Shanty Town just outside Greymuoth which was an old mining town you could walk round and look at the old buildings as they would have been. We also went on a steam train and gold panning, we found some gold, not enough to make us rich though.
