Byron Bay was a must stop as it is Australia's most easterly point and part of our quest to do all four points in one year.While in Byron Bay we spotted a Wicked Van with the slogan `the liver is evil and must be punished' which we thought was pretty witty. We camped out "Back of Bourke" and were greeted with a very cool morning. A quick fire, toast and a cuppa got us off to a good start. Of course one can not mention Bourke without giving a plug to the great Australian saying `the back of Bourke' referring to the start of the true outback.

Dubbo, is home to an amazing Zoo and it is well worth a visit. It's main claim to fame is its extensive breeding program bringing wild animals of the world further away from extinction. The zoo is also spacious making it very comfortable for resident animals and visiting humans alike!.

Blackheath rated our presence as it is central to the fabulous blue mountains with the main  attraction the impressive stone outcrop `the three sisters'. And speaking of three sisters it is also home to Lois the youngest of Heathers 3 sisters. We were fortunate enough to be able to have lunch with Lois and family before taking in the breathtaking sights the area has to offer.Footnote: The Greater Blue Mountains Area is UNESCO World Heritage listed.
