Here we go again, ready to explore more of Australia. This year we did another trip through the Simpson and through western and northern Queensland but found ourselves on the move so much that the blog remained unwritten.

However this time we are heading south to explore a part of Oz that we have never ventured to before - Tasmania. A small package but from all accounts, a rich one. Having been told that a month is not enough, we have allocated 6 weeks between the ferry bookings. Hopefully this will give us plenty of time to wander around the countryside as whim takes us, exploring towns and coast, forests and mountains. With our 4WD and camper we are planning to explore some remote places. As well we will catch up with a cousin of Russ's in Deloraine and an old schoolfriend of mine in Hobart.
