Singapore

I had 5 days in Singapore and managed to see most of the major sights including headings up to the highest hill for the views and all the major temples and markets.

I visited china town which was interesting but Singapore came to life when I decided that my hostel was too quiet and I needed some partying.. I decided to have a look online and found a pub crawl every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday so headed along on my own to the Friday night one! I met a great group of guys from the UK, India and the USA on the tour who were a great laugh! We all got drunk... As expected but had a good night! I arranged to meet up with George a guy from Essex the next night and we headed for the Marina Bay sands hotel.

The Marina Bay is more than just a hotel, it's a casino, massive garden with light show, largest shopping centre in the area and of course the most famous off all it has the sky park and it's stunning infinity pool!

The hotel is split into 3 separate towers with about 50 meters or more between each one then on the 57th floor of the hotel there is a large platform with extends over all 3 towers which has 2 restaurants a swimming poor, viewing deck and cocktail bar at the top. We went to "Sky on 57" bar and had a Singapore sling with the sun setting over the city! Beautiful!

We both headed out to the pub crawl once again to finish off the night. I had to be up early to catch my flight to Bali which was a little bit of a struggle!

Singapore is a beautiful city but there isn't that much to see. I would
Compare it too the UAE with all it's shopping centres and overpriced bars.
