Honolulu, Hawaii

We were on O'ahu with Hawaii's main city Honolulu, which is partly on Waikiki Beach, where surfing was invented by the indigenous Hawaiians.

Once we arrived to Honolulu we were expecting an exotic paradise. We got a crowded midwestern city with palms! We were overwhelmed by the huge apartment buildings, blocking the view in every direction.

We took the local bus around the island. It was supposed to take a couple of hours, but we ended being shaking around for almost five! The north shore was nice though. We ate the biggest piece of pie ever in Hale'iwa.

After a couple of days of adjusting, we finally got to enjoy the Aloha feeling with Hula dancing and pina coladas at sunset on Waikiki Beach

When we had been there for a week, there was no other place on earth we'd rather be! (except Thailand maybe )
