Today I went on a snorkeling trip over to the neighboring island of Ko Phi Phi Ley. In a so called long tail boat, the most common ship type around here. Among the different places we went were also Maya Bay and Phi Phi Ley Cove where parts of the movie "The Beach" were filmed. The snorkeling was alright but not great. We took the ferry at 9AM to Ko Phi Phi. And what can I say, it's a picture-perfect island. Something Germans call Trauminsel or dream island. But then again for centuries the Andaman coast is known for its stunning beauty ;) Got there around noon and picked a place to stay.
