The ruins of Angkor, Day 3! In the morning I went to the Angkor National Museum in Siem Reap. Great exhibitions about the Khmer Empire. In the afternoon I went back to Ta Prohm for a last time because the light was better today. Lost cities of Angkor, Day 2! Today the driver took me on the so called Grand Tour, into the extended area of Angkor. First stop Phnom Bakheng then Preah Khan, Neak Poan, East Mebon and Banteay Kdei. It is absolutely amazing what the Khmer Empire was able to build here between the 9th and 16th century. And worth to be called a wonder of the world. Especially considering the heat and humidity!
