Trying to remember to write everyday is hard work! Let's see, on the 12 we took a very off beat road, windy and curvy to Redding CA where my neice and her husband Mark lives. We spent the night visiting then left the next morning Lincoln where we stayed in a casino parking lot and ate a huge dinner at their buffet. Today trucking to Truckee with a stop at Donner pass interative center.

What an interesting hour we just spent at Donner pass museum we got so much information about the area and the Donner party and discovered there was a trail guide who did this pass many times by the name of Hastings. I guess I will have to do a little research.
