Sun 23rd FebCaught the 9am bus to Pereira, arriving at airport far too early - over 3hrs before 1:40pm flight in a tiny airport with nothing to do ! So just wrote some reviews, edited some videos etc.Super quick flight to Bogota (less than an hour), caught a taxi to our hotel in La Candelaria area, and wasn't the greatest first impressions of the city. Cold, very grey, heavy rain, lots of homeless people on the streets, graffiti etc. I'm really not a city person ...

Wed 19th FebSuper efficient morning. Up at 5:30, taxi at 6, checkin at airport 6:30, flight 8:30, landed 9:40, taxi 10am, bus station 10:20, bought tickets and on bus leaving for Salento 10:35, in Salento and hostel 10:45 !! Fri 14thPoor Brandon felt rough as we headed out for dinner last night, so quick walk back and he was then up and down to the toilet all night. Really didnt think he'd be able to leave on our 4hr bus to Cartagena today, but he managed to pack, checkout, and just sit quietly/sleep on the bus.Caught the 8:30 transfer, arriving into Cartagena at 12:45. Sun 9th FebNice relaxing morning in the hostel over breakfast and sorting photos and blog.Headed into town at 9:30 to the Gold Museum. Mon 3rd FebHeaded off to Heathrow at 6pm, had a small dinner and G&T to start the trip the right way, and caught the 9:40pm Avianca flight to Bogota. 10hr 40 flight, so watched a film, had some food, took a sleeping pill and woke up 7 hours later ! Thats the way to do it :) Tues 4th FebArrived into Bogota on time (3:30am), got our 90 day visa stamp, collected bags, then checked in for the next Avianca flight to Santa Marta.
