Hello, again, Blogonauts!
Testing...1...2...Testing...1...2...
Welcome to a renewed attempt to leave some verbal breadcrumbs to show where I've been.
In about an hour, I will be off on another transatlantic jaunt, this time mostly to Germany. It will be a chance to take in lots of history, architecture, and art, from medieval times, through World War II, and on to the present day.
Plus my language skills (or lack thereof) will be put to the test—deciphering German menus, train schedules, and travel advice—all the while doing my best to avoid humiliation as I converse with the locals.
The plan to spend most of my time in 3 cities: Nuremberg, Bamberg, and Dresden. Finally, I will divert myself a bit with a trip to Valencia, Spain to visit my friend Toby on my way home.
Keep your eye on your email inbox for announcements of entries. And be sure also to check out some of the photos that I post here or in my Instagram account (ambiverbal).

Tina Borsa Wow, it was less than 24 hours ago that you were here in the office with me. Enjoy your time away exploring!
Anna Yay! I’m so glad to start the day with your journeys! Have fun!
Bob Brown Hi Larry, As always enjoy your travel blog, and was interested to know that they had restored Dresden somewhat. And yes, cannot get over the terrible fire at Notre Dame, brings tears when I view the damage and steeple falling, Hopefully, it can be restored. Enjoy your visit with Toby.
