hi all! Been in sunny Peru for two weeks now and about to head over to Chile next. Came in via Lake Titicaca which was good, but a bit more touristy than the Bolivian side. Cusco itself is a lovely colonial town though and a nice place to chill out in. Lots of good cafes and restaurants and we bumped into a few people that we've met before so that is always good. As for Machu Picchu, we ended up doing a one day bike ride, then a two day hike to get there. Completely knackering but well worth it. Stunning scenery and we even had enough energy to climb up Wanapicchu so had great views down of the whole site. In Arequipa now and have visited Colca Canyon to see the condors. No more trekking or strenuous exercise for us though as we've done enough now! Looking forward to seeing you all very soon, K and M xx
