This is my last full day in Paris. It began with a visit to the catacombs. In the guide book, this was described as an eerie place yet fascinating. They removed thousands upon thousands of human remains from graveyards and piled them deep below the city. It was hard to imagine this and I needed to see it for myself. We arrived in good time. The weather was much cooler today but I think all this site seeing has taken it's toll on me. I feel very tired. We decided to go to the Orsay Museum as it was suggested by the tour guide on Monday. The line up was so long but moving fairly quickly. We walked through the museum, but I found it difficult to enjoy the pieces of artwork with so many crowding around. I woke up this morning to the sound of duelling car horns. One horn would sound, in retaliation the other horn would blare.
