Three Trains, Two Planes, One Bus
I didn't sleep that well last night in anticipation for today's trip. I was up around 6:30 and has a coffee and breakfast with my aunt. By 9:30 my cousin came to get me and drive me to the Lamezia Train station. That was train 1.
I made it to Naples but I was 2 minutes late for my connecting train to Rome so I waited in line for a new ticket.
There were so many people at this train station and most of them were waiting for this train. Every seat was full I think. It's a national holiday here so that might have something to do with it.
Luckily, it's the high speed train and it only takes just over an hour to get to Rome. That was train 2. I need to catch the train to the airport which runs every hour. That was Train 3.
The airport in Rome is strange for check in. I had to reference the display board to see which section I check into. It took forever to check in and get through security. I am glad I got here earlier.
I waited about an hour and boarded the plane to Brussels. I can feel the exhaustion setting in and my crankiness level elevate. I try and think of the positive things and it tames the beast! Soon I'll be home, in my bed, sleeping. Oh that sounds so wonderful.
My flight into Brussels went smoothly. Thats one plane. Now I have to wait 11 hours before the next plane boards. The terminal I am suppose to access is closed. Well, the security check area is closed. I'm waiting in terminal A for the time being as I don't want to leave. If I do I'll have to go through security check again. I'm going to try an stay awake now and then sleep on the plane. It's only 1:30 and I'm trying to do things to keep busy. ...like write my blog! I don't have Internet access so I'll have to update the this from home. That will be plane two that I'll be catching.
I need to try and rest....
No question for today.
