Tori's Travels
We were lucky enough we were allowed to sleep in, which was nice. Breakfast was fantastic. They made eggs for you right there. Plus sausages, mushrooms and steak. We had to wear our choir shirts, unfortunately, but we happily hopped on the bus for our first day.
In the morning we had a tour of Soweto. Saw Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela's house. Stopped at a monument for a bit, then back on the bus before we stopped at another monument. We sand inside the memorial and a lady asked if we could sing a song for her, and she would sing one for us. She cried when we sang, then sang such a lovely song for us.

Julia If you're wearing hoodies at a late supper it must be fairly cool at night, yes? (after all it's winter). How hot during the day with your choir shirts or gowns on?
