Sunday - We went out to the Coromandel. We drove for more than six hours! BORING! Tired when I came back, so I flomped into bed. 

Saturday - We did sweater shopping and went to the Hamilton Gardens. I went to a dinner party at my piano teachers house. I read a whole book. I ate supper and behaved very nicely. I played chess by myself and petted a cat called 'yippy'. 

Sunday - We went out to a beach that had lots of little turban shells. We saw cute little birds. We ate lunch and then we went to the shell death bed. It was full of shells on that beach. The sand was even crushed shells. 

Saturday - Dad was building the telescope and we saw some interesting birds. We went to the zoo. We saw rhino's galloping around. We saw really colourful birds that were chewing on a popsicle stick. I saw monkey's and lemurs. The cats had made paths in the ground. We went to an otter pond but no otters. I called out "come out otters or you will be rotters". They came out! Sunday - We headed out to Rotorua for the day. We stopped at the Dog and Sheep place. (Tirau) When we got to Rotorua we kept on going until we saw mudpots. The mudpots were bubbling madly. We went further on and came to an info and trail. I bought a hat and we went on the trail. It was neat! My Favourite part was the falls. It was a cool walk.
