Saturday - We left for Canada. Said goodbye to lovely New Zealand and travelled off into the previous day. We landed in Hawaii on Friday. Then Vancouver, then home.

Friday - We went for the 'last' walk in the gardens and found something that turned out to be cage or basket fungus that looked like a soccer ball with the panels punched out. We saw them 'hatch' from gel filled eggs. Then we had fish and chips for supper and then I went to Scouts. They held a party for me. I got presents, a stuffed cow, a NZ flag and a meadle. Packing again, then sleep.

Thursday - We went to Field Days. Man was the lineup long. There was all farm stuff you could think of, new inventions (mostly possum traps). We tried an emu sausage and a ostrich burger. We watched cow handling machines and tractor races where tractors have these heavy loads on the back and race each other around posts and try not to knock them down. We went home. More packing. I'm tired.

Wednesday - My last day at school. They had a surprise snack for me. I got a few pictures and then after school I turned down a ride and walked with Amber and Amber. They both stayed and then we took them home and went to Megan's for supper. Pumpkin soup, roast lamb, roast potato, peas, and mint sauce. For dessert we had passion fruit pavlova topped with tameriillo sauce. Yum.

Monday - Mum and dad's anniversary. We had Japanese food. A multicourse meal. SOOOOOO GOOOOD.
