Visited the Selby botanical gardens today as it was cloudy. Amazing plants, the garden specialises in orchids and epiphytes ( plants that live on other plants) there was a huge Banyan and other weird trees. Had lunch at Marina Jacks and then the sun came out so we dashed back to the pool, another hectic day.

Another relaxed day, seems to be a pattern sun in the morning then dark clouds in the afternoon. Visited the circle Alvin is still there. Had first BBQ spicy burgers Yum.

A very exciting day! The smoke alarm in the spare bedroom bleeps battery out and to reach it we had to buy a stepladder ( see photo). Last night there was a spectacular storm and this evening we strolled out to make sure the beach was still there. Spoke to Pam -must visit before we go.

Smooth trip everything went to plan (a first) the garden has a bit of battering with palm leaves everywhere but everything is working including the air con thank goodness as the heat is breathtaking (92). Glass of wine and start to relax.
