I arrived at La Paz bus station around 8.30am and having heard a few dodgy stories about taxi drivers i cautiously approached one that seemed legit. We arrived in Sucre around 8.30pm at Travellers Guesthouse and soon went out for food in Florins which we had been recommended. Upon arrival in Potosi we tried to find a taxi to take us to our hostel. However, taxi's in Bolivia have not adopted the same approach as the rest of the world with easily identifiable taxis all the same colour. Instead to turn a car into a taxi all you need is a batman shaped sign saying taxi and apparently your then qualified. After successfully getting through immigration at the hut on th mountain with no customs office I headed to our 4 x 4. I arrived at the hostel in San Pedro around 7.30pm and soon met 2 lads from Nottingham and Pedro from Santiago. The 3 of us went into town for food and it was nice to have a Spanish speaker to translate the menu for us.
