Hey everyone,

Well we have arrived in Fiji after a brill time in New Zealand, where we spent 9 days touring in our camper van although i got a bit smelly from the lack of showers (and Tom a lot smellier than me) it was really enjoyable. The highlight being my bungy jump, i am soooo brave and it was amazing.

But we have crashed back to earth when we arrived here, the fact that we have already brought our flight forward to the 8th instead of the 14th tells you a lot. This was the place we were looking forward to the most with pristine beaches and cocktails in mind. Well it is more like avoiding stray barking dogs and the massive spiders that attack while you sleep kind of thing. Our troubles stared at the airport in New Zealand when the air line tried to take 50 dollars each because the money we paid to STA obviously went on their xmas party rather than changing our flights. Then this morning when i woke up i thought it was going to be a better day, but oh no after wrestling with a giant spider that had crawled into our bedding, we went into the town where we got dragged into some ceremony to welcome us 'my arse'. welcome our money more like we got ripped off 160 dollars there and spent an extra 10 mins in the town before realising it was crap. We then got a taxi back as you cant walk anywhere here and decided to sit round the pool, and then it started raining. So we decided to book a trip and after an hour we decided that if we wanted to get to America with any money we had to leave now. The people are very very nice and friendly but that is only probably because they want your money. So now we are just waiting for our flight out of here, but we have decided to come back and give it another chance when we are loaded as it is the only way to see it.
