Well for a capital city Wellington has been different! I wasn't expecting a metropolis but a place with loads of things to do...on the forst day of being here I hauled my ass out of bed to explore the city at 12 (hey i'm travelling) and went to an amzing and massive museum called Te Papa which was really interesting then tried to find the parliment building...got there just in time for a tour which was brilliant and the set up is basically the same as the house ...

Hello from Christchurch, according to the book sthe most English city in New Zealand and definately a small but perfectly formed one I think! Slightly sad as leaving to go up north tomorrow and I have loved every second of the South Island, never been anywhere like it before. Well we were driving in to the adrenaline capital of south island and new zealand and we spotted the a j hackett bunjy bridge so on the spot tamara decided to jump it, complete nut case!! OH MY GOD.....have just done a truly once in a lifetime thing, did the heli hike on Franz Josef Glacier which was seriously amazing!!! The Maori name for the glacier is the tears of the avalanche girl and u can see why as the glacier spreads all the way down the moutain. The views from the helicopter were awsome as we went up above the glacier which is 5000 feet and came down to land on it with views streching off for miles and miles. we walked around with hu...

Arrived in New Zealand after an uber long boring flight but came over the mountains as the plane was coming in to land and straight away I fell in love with the country. Went straight into the middle of Christchurch to spend the night in a hostel before setting off on a road trip on a famous road called Arthurs Pass (better memorial than the bench Arthur got in Albert Square) which was truly amazing!!
