hi

arrived in Krabi yest after spending the nit travelling down by bus. stopping in a resort called Ao Nang and its v v sunny down here. no clouds like up in bangkok. It took us about 15 hours on the bus to get down here - but its worth it.

stopping in a hotel which has its own private beach and swimming pool, so had beakfast on the beach this morning - not a bad way to wake up. today we caught a long tail boat out to a small beach called Railey. which was gorgeous and only a handfull of people there.

we have lots of pics but are struggling to put them on here as internet too slow everywhere to upload any!! we will keep trying tho.

2mz we are going on another long boat around 5 diff beaches - maybe some snorkling and feeding some fish as well.

Wednesday Sept 25th

Yesterday we got up early to catch a mini van ten mins to the main pier in ao nang to head out on our long boat trip to 5 islands.

The weather was great and we set off with a bout 16 people on the boat. one guy (who we will call rambo) whos first words to everyone were "have you seen the new rambo this is the boat he goes on" - he was even wearing a headscarf like rambo! his mate was also from america and was wearing a crazy silk shirt! any way the first island we went to was called 'lading island' and was a small beach and we did some snorkling with the fishes there - the lcals use the caves there to collect swallow saliva and sell it - its worth loads of money apparently!

the next beach we headed to was a beach which separated 2 islands 'rai island' and 'pakbia island'! here american shirt guy went off and got stung by an enormous sea urchin and had to spend most of the trip on the boat - no volunteers to pee on his foot! Rambo meanwhile went off and fashioned a spear out of some bambo and went and killed the sea urchin and brought it back fr everyone to see - it was massive! these 2 islands were really nice also and the beach dissapears when the tide is high.

onto the next island which was the main one called 'hong island' where we had some lunch and had about 2 hours relaxing on the beach - it was so quiet and was just like a little clear blue lagoon you see in the movies. Rambo and shirt guy went of Khaiaking (dont know how you spell it) for 2 hours and were so burnt and came back with a collection of different things he killed!

the next place was hong lagoon which we got to through some narrow caves and was also really nice. Rambo mamaged to find a sea cucumber in the sea and kill that too!! what a guy!

anyway - The journey back to ao nang on the boat was really choppy and most people were feeling sick and head there head in their hands! we were ok tho!

In the evening we went out for some food and played sme pool in a bar and had couple beers before headng back to get some sleep - both so tired!

Sept 26th

Today we are having a lazy day updating you guys and sunbathing and trying to sort some accomadation out for 2mz when we head off to the phi phi islands! places are so expensive there because its such a beautiful place that everyone wants to go to.
