THURSDAY (last day!) We had to be out of our room by 12 today so I got up and showered quickly as I had not packed the previous night, although it wasn't going to take me long as I had left everything in my bag. The real reason I woke up in good time was so that I could get a breakfast to remember - noodles! I had seen this peculiar (well, peculiar for me anyway) addition to the breakfast menu on our first morning, and had promised myself that while I was here, it would have to go down on my list of things to do! It was a surprisingly normal affair, probably because I have become accustomed to them since being here, but was still a novel experience! We packed up the last our stuff, and checked out, with our transfer to the airport booked for 17:55. This gave us plenty of time to get our last internet cafe session in before leaving, and also some last minute shopping for stuff for siblings etc. So we leave Hong Kong with many good memories, and one shocking one (Kim is still feeling the effects by the way!), with new enthusiasm for what lies ahead in New Zealand. I'll get back on here as soon as we find a cheap t'interweb cafe in NZ, so until then, stay well and be cool...
