Today's destination was Kerala, south west India. Our morning flight from Kathmandu headed for Delhi where due to a long wait we had planned to leave the airport to explore old Delhi. This plan was however vetoed by the security staff at the airport. Eventually we were on the evening flight to Kochin where we had booked into a homestay. We arrived by taxi in Fort Kochin around 12am and set about trying to find out homestay with limited direction details. After an hour or so of attempting to find it with our driver, and after the offer from a drunk local to stay at his homestay (he claimed to be the mayor) we finally ended up checking into one of the hotels that was still open.
