Hi Everyone! Have been in Kuala Lumpur for 4 days. Have spent most of that time hanging around the KLCC Shopping Mall trying to get up the Petronas Twin Towers! Took 3 days before we managed to get tickets! The view from the Sky bridge is pretty amazing though. The KLCC is like a home from home, had a Top shop, Marks and Spencer and a super market which had real cheese and french bread! (you have to watch out for the chicken curry donuts though!) Hi, We've just got back from the Perhentian Islands, which were pretty amazing. We were only on the tiny 'Small Island', staying in a hut with generator power at night only, and there was quite a lot of local wildlife wandering around to contend with (spiders as big as your hand, monitor lizards as big as your leg, etc) but we had a great time. We did some suntanning/burning and some paddling around in the swimming pool clear shallows with the little fishes ...

Hi everyone, arrived in the Cameron Highlands yesterday on bus from Georgetown. We're staying at Father's guest house, which is v cheap, mostly due to the accomadation being weird bomb shelter type things called Nissen huts. They are suprisingly bug and spider proof which is a relief! Hope to do some trekking this afternoon or tomorrow.
