Hi guys, we are back!!!

Firstly, yes I know the pictures are of Washington but they didn't have any of San Diego! San Diego which just happens to be a really cool city (unlike that dump, L.A!). We have started our tour and this is our first stop, save for a few crazy hours south of the border in Tijuana! unfortunately we have to leave tomorrow but hey, by Wednesday we will be at the Grand Canyon so its not all bad!

So, to get you all up to speed.....

Fiji was pretty cool, not the island paradise we had hoped but we had fun! Rarotonga was expensive (but really nice too!). We stayed there for my second birthday (still not quite got my head round that one!) and shared a house with a load of cool guys for a week. Just a shame the weather didn't turn up! We were all set for a great week but it was fairly cold and grey so we spent a lot of time indoors staring at the sky!

One monumental thing did happen though! I went diving, hoping to see some turtles or some rays. Didn't manage to find any but we saw a Minke Whale!!!! About 10m long, one of the most incredible things ive ever seen! I still get a buzz when I think about it!

We encountered our first flight delay on leaving Rarotonga. 11 hours (ish). Still we got put up in a sweet hotel for the night and made it to our accommodation in LA no problem.

LA was fun. We did the touristy stuff round Hollywood and really enjoyed it. As I said before though, it is a right dump! Its actually good to get out and see a part of America which is not so fake and San Diego is awesome.

Sorry for the lack of pics but we hardly have any to load up. Check us out in about 10 days though and we should have heaps of American stuff for you, plus what little we got from the Pacific!
