From there we headed to the centre of the North island and Rotorua. Rotorua is a very geothermally active area and whilst we were there we went to see the geothermic valley. Granny and Grandpa Thanks for the news and super photos. We were very glad to see both of you looking fine in the photos, as the break had seemed long. Your mystery birds are 'helmeted guineafowl' - we found them on google. Heaps of love, Granny and Grandpa.

Its been great having our weekly phone calls and glad to hear you're both safe and well and still enjoying it all - I hope your place in Sydney is good - I'm sure a proper bed, shower and indoors warmth will feel like luxury.
