we found it - australia's blackpool!! however far more scenic with beautiful beaches. only used this place as a stopover but nevertheless really enjoyed just lying on the golden beach soaking up the sun. tom got himself burnt, whilst hayley the sensible one continued to reapply the necessary lotion all day long! tomorrow brings another trip up the coast as we head for brisbane. love you all xxx

well we've started our trip up the coast - first place a small city called newcastle. pretty much just spent our time here chillin out on the beach soakin up the sun - its a hard life! however we did try out the surfing, hired a board for a few hours and hit the beach to catch a few waves (check out a few of the photos). wish we could show you those 8ft rip curls we were riding but the camera battery died on us! ;) the hostel was really good, first night we ...
