Ah, the lovely Wilsons Prom! We arrived here around midday on the 29th Feb. Weather on the way in was cloudy with moderately strong easterly winds. We fetched up at Tidal river Caravan park and nabbed a nice sheltered spot on the beach side of the park. The boys were very excited to see that there was an open air cinema and that it was playing TinTin that night. Tom and I were interested to see that in the last few years the elements have been decidedly unkind...

We stayed an extra night in Cape Conran simply because it was so magnificently beautiful. The weather has been wonderful- between 25 and 32 degrees, very little wind and small, clean waves. We had a lovely swim after packing up the van and had the rare privilege of seeing a small red bellied black snake sunning itself in the grass behind the shower.
