Had a surreal experience in Bath the other night, Toby and I were having an early 'rhuematic' valentine's evening and I totally froze! I was completely convinced that the sommelier was Dan - admittedly a Dan who had ceased travelling with Shu, become Scililian, trained as a sommelier and was working in the Bath Priory! Still, it was very unnerving indeed.

Glad to see that you two used some of the time on the train to play tete du merde, splendid!

Great to hear from you again- Chris has been with us for a few days and it has been nice to talk to someone who actually saw you recently! He has been having an authentic Canadian winter experience- he helped us clear the snow off the drive this morning and on Monday the wind chill was -30C! Quite a change from Macau- I don't know if he will come this way again in February
