The trip sounds like it is going really well......with lots of crazy stories! Certainly cheering me up on days where I think NU are crawling into my brain and reading my mind! Love it!
Not much happening here, busy busy as usual, but most people had a good laugh at the Arsenal result (sorry Dan!) We booked the wedding, 18th July 09, so you should be back for that!! Oh and Jeremy Beadle died.....in case you were a fan.

It all sounds very exciting apart from the time on trains. I had to call the police and have a 13 year old boy arrested at school. He had been smoking dope and went berserk in reception. I was left alone with him for a few minutes and he was considering if he could get away with head butting me. Fortunately I am normally quite strict with him so he changed his mind!!!! He has been expelled (thank God). I was pretty shaken up at the time but it's all in a days work at a secondary school - even a good one like ours.

I can't believe that it is 2 weeks since I saw you off from London, and by now you may be in Xian where it looks as though it should be a bit warmer than Harbin. You will feel positively tropical at only -10 . That is the sort of temperatures we have had since I got back to Canada- but today it is up to zero- really hot!!!! Sounds like you both are having fun, although not sure if i would survive in that freezing cold weather, I probably would have turned back round on the first day, seeing as i can't cope when someone just opens the window at work!
Couldn't resist to mention the fact that spurs absolutely battered you on tues night, what a performance, we made you look below average that night. I have been waiting for that victory for a long time, although i must savour the moment as not quite sure when it will happen again. Oh and it wouldn't have been the Mickey Mouse Cup if u had got to the final!!!

Sounds like you guys are really looking forward to posting the cold weather wear back home and buying the summer clothes! I really hope you get some photos uploaded soon, as I'd love to see the ice ones. I remember Niagara Falls two years ago and how cold you got Shula. No Dan .... don't lick the ice again and get your tongue stuck!!

I cannot emphasize how jealous i am of you guys. China is definitely on my "to do list". I learnt Chinese for a little bit. This is how you say "My name is Dan" (written phonetically): "war de min zi jow Dan" I hope it helps.
I am enjoying the escapism that your blogs give me while i work in sunny bournemouth, thankyou... its nearly as good as my comic books! lol.
