We did it! We climbed the highest mountain in South East Asia... and what an experience! You start the climb at 2000 metres, where you walk/climb through rain forest. After climbing for nearly 6 hours, we reached our guest house, where we had a well deserved beer and some food. We spent the evening playing cards with our fellow climbers, Matt and Marcus (hello if you're reading this!) who we shared a guide with. After a few games of cards it was early to bed...

Tomorrow is the big day - we start our climb up Mount Kinabalu - 4101 metres above sea level.. half the height of Everest, so should be easy! I'm starting to get a bit nervous about whether or not I'll make it... my legs hurt enough from the climb and walk in the Cameron Highlands and that was nothing in comparison to this! But, no pain, no gain! We'll be without internet access for a few days (I think it's safe to say there probably isn't an internet cafe at ...
